CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK – 4 DAYS

Day 1:

Cusco – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca

Early departure from Cusco to Capuliyoc, the starting point of the trek. From here, begin the descent with spectacular views of the Apurímac Canyon.

Arrival in Chiquisca, where we spend the first night.

Hiking time: 6–7 hours

Includes: lunch and dinner

Accommodation: campsite in Chiquisca

Day 2:

Chiquisca – Marampata – Choquequirao

Early morning ascent to Marampata, enjoying Andean scenery and views of the Apurímac River.

In the afternoon, explore the impressive archaeological complex of Choquequirao, often referred to as the sacred sister of Machu Picchu.

Hiking time: 7–8 hours

Includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Accommodation: campsite in Choquequirao

Día 3:

Choquequirao – Marampata – Chiquisca

After breakfast, visit the most important sectors of the archaeological site before beginning the return journey to Chiquisca.

Descend once again with stunning views of the canyon.

Hiking time: 7 hours

Includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner

Accommodation: campsite in Chiquisca

Día 4:

Chiquisca – Capuliyoc – Cusco

Ascent back to Capuliyoc, where we say farewell to the mountains and the support team.

Private transport back to Cusco.

Hiking time: 5–6 hours
