Inca Trail 4 Days to Machu Picchu
The most legendary journey in the Andean world
Embark on the most complete Inca Trail experience to Machu Picchu—a four-day trek that brings together history, culture and nature at their finest.
With over 30 years of experience operating in Cusco, our team guides you safely and passionately along the original trail built by the Incas centuries ago.
An unforgettable adventure for lovers of trekking, history and sweeping Andean vistas.
Day 1:
Cusco – Km 82 – Ayapata
Early departure from Cusco towards kilometre 82, the starting point of the Inca Trail. Along the way, enjoy the landscapes of the Sacred Valley, farmland and traditional communities.
Upon arrival, meet our porter team and begin the hike towards Hatunchaka, where lunch will be served.
In the afternoon, continue to Ayapata, a small Andean settlement surrounded by mountains, where we set up our first campsite and enjoy dinner prepared by our trail chef.
Hiking time: 5–6 hours
Includes: lunch and dinner
Accommodation: campsite in Ayapata

Day 2:
Ayapata – Warmiwañusca – Pacaymayu
After breakfast, we begin one of the most challenging and iconic sections of the trek: the ascent to Warmiwañusca Pass, known as Dead Woman’s Pass.
From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the Veronica snow-capped peak and the surrounding valleys.
We then descend to the Pacaymayu campsite, where lunch is served and we spend the night, surrounded by nature and a unique silence beneath the stars.
Hiking time: 7–8 hours
Includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Accommodation: campsite in Pacaymayu
Día 3:
Pacaymayu – Runkurakay – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñay Wayna
The third day is considered the most beautiful of the journey, with constantly changing scenery from the high Andes to the tropical cloud forest.
We visit the archaeological sites of Runkurakay, Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca—three Inca gems that showcase remarkable engineering and a deep spiritual connection with nature.
After lunch, we continue to our final campsite at Wiñay Wayna, a magical place surrounded by orchids and waterfalls.
Hiking time: 8–9 hours
Includes: breakfast, lunch and dinner
Accommodation: campsite in Wiñay Wayna

Día 4:
Wiñay Wayna – Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Very early in the morning, we walk to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) to witness sunrise over Machu Picchu—an image that will remain etched in your memory.
After this unforgettable moment, we descend to the Machu Picchu citadel, where your expert guide will lead a two-hour guided tour of the main temples, terraces and sectors.
